Action! Marcia Baker's energetic and vibrant watercolor paintings represent her connection with the woods and coast of Maine. She is an avid ecologist and sportsman. Favorite outdoor pastimes, like kayaking, canoing or sailing to her favorite coastal island, are woven into stories. Sporting Images of fly-fishing, Nordic skiing, hiking, bird and duck hunting are captured from experiences with her husband. Yet wandering in a lupine field portrays moments of peacefulness.
